Miss Emily earned her bachelor's degree in English from Western Michigan University in 2012. After having her eldest child she began working in the field of early childhood education. In 2018 she earned her second bachelor's degree in early childhood education from Ferris State University. She and her family call Manistee home.
Mrs. Lauren Bowlby ~ Kindergarten (lbowlby@trinitymanistee.com)
Mrs. Bowlby joined Trinity in the fall of 2025. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Montevallo in Alabama. She and her husband, Connor, call Manistee home. Mrs. Bowlby enjoys boating, gardening, hobby farming, hunting, and cross-country skiing.
Mrs. Tina Fisk ~ 1st grade & 2nd grade (tfisk@trinitymanistee.com)
Mrs. Fisk earned her bachelor's degree in education from Concordia University Chicago. She is in her 35th year of teaching, 34 of which were here at Trinity Manistee, most of which have been in a 1st/2nd multi-age classroom. Her husband, Joe, a Manistee native, drives for Dial-a-Ride, and her two grown daughters, Maureen and Natalie, are both alumni of Trinity.
Miss Ashlea Weston ~ Principal, 3rd - 5th grade teacher (aweston@trinitymanistee.com)
Miss Weston earned her bachelor degree in elementary education, early childhood education, and music from Concordia University Ann Arbor. She also holds a masters degree in early childhood education from Madonna University. Previous to serving at Trinity she served at Lutheran schools in Indiana and metro Detroit.
Bode Grey ~ Resident Therapy Dog
Bode is a two year old Portuguese Water Dog. He is a certified as therapy and a mental health service dog. He loves to greet everyone and play fetch at recess.
Ms. Josclyn Cabarrubia, Preschool Aide
Ms. Josclyn earned her Associate of Arts degree in 2020 from Haskell Indian Nation University and has worked in the early childhood field since. Her four children are the joy of her life. In her family's free time they enjoy going on walks and bowling.

Delaney grew up in Manistee and now lives in Free Soil with her husband Joe, sons Henry and Daniel, and kitties Ghost, Stevie Hiss, and Princess Bubbles. She has degrees in Healthcare Administration from Columbia Southern University and Business Administration from West Shore Community College. She has a career background in nonclinical healthcare in both supervisory and frontline positions, as an insurance agent, various retail positions, and even some fishing! In her spare time, she enjoys reading, crocheting, fishing, hiking, and just generally being outdoors. She joined our team in May 2026, and is enjoying working with everyone so far! She is thrilled to be able to work at the same school that her boys attend, and to have the opportunity to explore a new career path.
Mrs. Ruth Zehnder ~ Support Staff: Art/STEM (rzehnder@trinitymanistee.com)
Mrs. Zehnder rejoined Trinity as an Art and STEM teacher in the fall of 2025. She began her career at Trinity as a student and completed grades K through 8 here. She earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Concordia College, Ann Arbor. She taught various grades in Ann Arbor and Winston-Salem, NC before “retiring” to raise her three sons. Her husband, Tim, was a professor of Anatomy and Physiology before retiring in 2024. Returning to Manistee and reconnecting to her roots at Trinity has been a lifelong dream and is a tremendous blessing.
